| Bethany and I went to the Cubs/Astros game today. Cubs got shutout, but we had a great time. The only downside (other than the loss) was that Bethany and I made this great sign for the Cubs closing pitcher, Kerry Wood, but never got to use it because, well they obviously had no need for him today. It read: "The top of the 9th gives me Wood!" Ah well. I also forgot how much I love Sarah Polley's cover of Courage. The original isn't bad, either. |

| I want to start up a webcomic again. Unfortunately, Cyanide and Happiness have the pseudo-stick figure look locked down. It's ok, though. They're usually funny. |

| Bethany and I were watching the Disney Channel when this came on over the commercial break: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjZeuuLEgWA I became intrigued by the "the shoulder thing," which is probably a technical dance term, though I cannot verify that. It's both disturbing and annoying as it looks like her arm is totally independent of her body, and - not to my surprise - I cannot do the move at all. Because I'm trying to watch my shoulder to see if I am moving it the way she does in the video, I look like I'm simply amused that my shoulder moves at all, as if I've never thought to move it before. Anyway.

I don't know who still uses xanga, but to those of you who do: I took a year off xanga, but I'm back! A lot has changed (I'm married!), but a lot is still the same (I'm a nerd!). I'll be updating pretty regularly again. I hope you are all well.\ On a side note, I'm not too excited about xanga's new look. |
